Financial Controller - Thames Valley - United Kingdom,Berkshire

Make a difference at the strategic level. My client is a division of a market leading, global entity and is looking for a qualified accountant who will manage the finances and partner the business in order to facilitate continued success. The role has become available due to an internal move. This role manages a small team and focuses on the reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes. The team is established and as such, the successful candidate will be given scope to become involved in the higher-level activity including partnering the operations staff in new projects and providing advice and guidance from a finance perspective. The role also takes a position on the strategic management team and provides financial advice on investments etc.

The successful candidate will be qualified and have a proven track record of partnering the business. You will have excellent communications skills and posses the ability to manage relationships with non-finance senior managers. You will have excellent budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills and been involved in supporting large project e.g. Capital Expenditure initiatives.
