Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Local Government organisation for an INTERIM role for the period of approx 6 months. The organisation are currently looking to reduce operational and management costs in this current year but more importantly over the next 3-5 years.

An opportunity has arisen for a consultant to work across the Finance function and IT systems of the organisation to streamline current processes and re-engineer working practises. Such practises include the budgeting process, invoice and reconciliation systems of finance and the regular production of reports. There is also opportunity to improve operational working and integrate finance into the rest of the business effectively.Strong Excel and modelling skills are required for this role to improve reporting and the ability to identify changes for improvement.Knowledge of Agresso and related experience will also be looked upon very favourably for this role.The candidate required must have local government experience having worked previously with commercial organisaitons to drive improvement and engage stakeholders.

The rate for this role will be Ł400-Ł500 per day and run approx for 6 months.
